Hermes Wanderland

When thinking of fashion, I do have a soft spot for French labels. They have this "je ne sais quoi".  When I received an email from The Saatchi Gallery informing me on their current exhibition I simply could not miss it.

Hermes Wanderland has been set up to celebrate the Parisian concept of flanerie, the wonderfully liberating art of urban wandering. The exhibition features objects gathered from the Hermes archive, the museum collection of Emile Hermes at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore in Paris and Hermes' contemporary collections.

Set designer Hubert le Gall transports visitors into a dream world of joy and fantasy. The eleven rooms present a series of installations that have been created by a diverse range of artists.

The exhibition finishes this weekend so you still have a few days to pop in and allow yourself to get willingly lost in the beautiful world of Hermes.

When In Greece, Drink Greek Coffee!

It has been a while since I last dedicated myself to a blog post but here I am :-). Last month I was in Greece for my niece's baptism (I was the proud godmother) and it's been a fairly busy month. I must confess that I performed my duties with success in the sense that the oil covered the baby all over and I managed not to drop her, as this was my main fear!

Other than that, I enjoyed lots of Greek coffee as always, great food, family, friends and the sea. The weather was fairly good and it was a nice break from London.

At the airport... This was my new B's first trip :-)
I feel happy with a coffee and a book
Enjoying a night out with a glass of wine and lots of Greek music
And another glass...
After the wine, here comes coffee
And koulouri...
And koboloi...
And tsoureki...

Oh this sea..
Remembering the words of the Greek writer, Nikos Kazantzakis: "I felt once more how simple and frugal a thing is happiness: a glass of wine, a roast chestnut, a wretched little brazier, the sound of the sea. Nothing else."

Getting ready...
Relaxing after the big day by the sea.... I think I have earned my coffee!

With my cousin...
Everything blue
I hope spring is treating you all very well!!

Have a great weekend!
