At My Fav Lebanese Canteen

It's been a while since I have last put together a post but I have to say that it's been a crazy few months. A more of a "Work hard, play harder" situation but I will slowly catch up. Plus, I hate it that my mum worries that I am not well, since I am not writing on the blog.

We are already one month into the new year and I hope it has been a great start for everyone. I had a quiet festive season (purely because I was exhausted from work and other life cruelties as I always sarcastically say) but I am treating the new year with a bit of healthy craziness.

It's been a couple of months since I last visited one of my favorites Lebanese restaurants in South Kensington "Comptoir Libanais" and I would like to share some photos with you. The food there is awesome, the place oozes coziness and charm and the palette of colours that surround you help you build up quite an appetite (not that I struggle much with this though). The only thing that depends on me is the company I have with me and I make sure that it is pretty special and a brill time is guaranteed :-)

I am loving these colourful cans...
Food after a long day at work, always makes me happy
This time I did not have my usual (shawarma chicken wrap), but opted for a delicious aubergine tagine.. This did not fail me at all!
Coffee and dessert after dinner: A match made in heaven
Me and mi amiga Lola :-)
Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream.... Melting..!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

For some unexplainable reason I am loving the British cold weather! Stay warm wherever you are, smile and have fun!!

Happy New Year 2015

Another year starts and with it lots of hopes and aspirations! The year gone-by has been an interesting and eventful one pour moi but the excitement of the new one, brings me lots of anticipation for the next best things in my life.

And I will say it all with a quote by T.S. Eliot:

"For last year's words belong to last year's language. And next year's words await another voice".

Make it a good one, eh?
