Ready to Check In

It has certainly felt more than a week since I came back from my mini break in Greece  and all this due to my heavy workload, but now it is time to chill a little bit and have some fun. The situation requires leaving London yet again and travel to Roman ground. I have always wanted to visit Rome and it was about time. I will probably not have much time to see everything there is to see but I will be quite content by seeing as much as possible.

I am looking forward to this vacay as a means of relaxation as well. There is nothing better than just enjoying Italian coffee, food, wine and someone has told me that Italians are not bad to the eye :-)

My Top 10 Guide, my passport, certain Chanel essentials,my purse and a McQueen scarf...

Have a great day!!

Myla 2014 Collections

I am dreaming of new lingerie for winter and Myla always comes to my mind (even though they do not do my bra size, why?). At the last sale I bought a stunning pair of suspenders from their Harrods boutique at a fraction of the original price ;-)

Arietta, Nicole and Isabella are not my new best friends but part of the Myla 2014 Collections. What I love in these collections is the use of pure silks and lavish laces, combined with investment into the perfect cut, ensuring the collections are as supportive and comfortable as they are seductive. It's all about seduction with underwear sometimes, isn't it?

Let's meet the girls:

Arietta UW High Apex Bra £90
Arietta Thong £60
Arietta Open Knicker £80
Nicole Non Padded Balcony Bra £90
Nicole Brazilian £45
Nicole Suspender £65
Isabella Non Padded Balcony Bra £110
Isabella Brazilian £60

I hope you fancy some of these pieces and I have put you into the right mood for lingerie shopping. You may check the Myla website for more styles and for some sale pieces from their Spring/Summer collection.

Have a great day!!

At Le Pain Quotidien

There is nothing that I love more than hanging out at places with a philosophy. A few weeks ago I met up with my friend Laura for brunch. We headed to Parsons Green (love this area) and rested ourselves to the cute wooden chairs of Le Pain Quotidien (which means the daily bread... oui, oui je parle un peu de Francais). Here the loaves emerge from the ovens, warm and fragrant and friends like us gather around the tables to share stories, jokes and laughs!!

It all happened on a Friday where most people were working but we had the day off and we enjoyed a nice cup of coffee, some organic soup, tartines and the hesitant British sun was hanging above us making the whole scenery a bit more photogenic.

Organic soup and tartine

Laura could not say no to this chocolate bombe slice ;-)
Have a great Sunday!!

Let's Talk About Public Transport

Lately I have a fascination of taking photos when on the tube (maybe because this is not happening that often as I detest taking the tube and feels like I want to capture this rare occasion!). Don't get me wrong, for long distances I am taking the tube as I have not mastered the art of flying yet, but for short distances there is nothing I love better than walking. These toned legs of mine have walked miles and miles.

Baker Street
Barons Court
I also like taking the bus as I am quite a visual kind of person and I always want to have an optical take of my surroundings. Of course the bus can make you regret ever taking it especially when I am on my way to Fulham to meet up with a friend for a glass of wine but Chelsea plays, Fulham Road is blocked and it takes an eternity! This experience is quite raw as it happened to me three days ago. You cannot imagine what this scenario is doing to me that I am a total time freak person and I hate being late!! Luckily my friend was patiently waiting for me :-)

Last night at Earl's Court...I was too busy taking photos and I missed the first train ;-)
Have a great weekend!!

My Trip - Part 2

It's been three days since I have been back to London and oh dear how tired I already feel!! I don't want to moan much, but things have been so crazy at work and it is so wise of me to have another holiday booked for the week  to come. My next destination is Rome and I cannot wait to spend a week exploring this beautiful city.

In a previous life I must have been a fiery Italian and I am looking forward to lots of sightseeing and adventures at the eternal city (I need to make sure to get my Top 10 Guide!).

I want to take as many amazing photos as possible during my stay there. In the meantime, here are some more photos from Greece! Can I please go back? I know the answer to this, it was just a rhetorical question first thing in the morning :-)

Green scenery
Every time someone plays with my heart, I feel the need for a new haircut ;-)

My ticket to a Greek Concert
Chillin' at Urban Cafe
At the Port

The sun last week was so generous and I felt like it was still summer. I sunbathed, having with me the latest book ("Seven Years to Sin") that I have borrowed from my local library in Fulham, had some lovely tsipouro with delicious Greek food, walked around the city, bumped into two lovely people of the Free Hugs Campaign and exchanged hugs and kisses with them....

And the best part of a holiday is to never check at the time. This is so liberating....

Lunch without wine is like a day without sunshine!!!

I adore Antonis Remos...
Frozen natural yogurt
White Tower of Thessaloniki

I loved this semi-sweet wine at Mojo Bar in Aristotelous Square
Sangria & Tapas
This is my idea of happiness... Greek coffee in the morning :)
What a view...!

Reading by the sea...
Black & White

Drinking some more wine at Dore Zythos Restaurant

Farewell Greece....

Have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend!!

My Trip to Thessaloniki - Part 1

Hello everyone! I am so happy to come back to London after my holiday break in Greece and find the weather in such a warm state (I know that it will probably not last long enough, but lets enjoy it while it does)! In Greece everything was beautiful: the weather, the food, the wine... Need I say more?

I had so much time on my plate, to relax, do my hair, do my nails, walk around the city and listen to lots of Greek music (and lots of dancing was involved as well) that I do not normally do.

Here I have put together a few photos reminiscing last week while I am getting ready for work :-(

Passport: check, Summer mood: check....Lets fly away!!
A warn croissant and an even warmer latte are much needed before every flight

My day was always starting with great mood, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice
... and in the evening it was ending with wine!!

These white Birkenstocks are my favorite pair while on holiday
Even though I was on holiday I kept up with my exercise regime: walking and yoga (not photos of my yoga postures though!)

I like being make-up free while on holiday ;-)
Have an awesome day!!
