Picnic at Furnivall Gardens

The weather in London recently has taken a U turn and I guess that this is a sign that summer days and nights are over. It was all good while it lasted and autumn will officially arrive tomorrow. I am such a summer girl though and today I was reminiscing when a few weeks ago I went on a picnic with my friend Laura at Furnivall Gardens.

Our lunch was taken care thanks to Marks & Spencer and we headed to the gardens to enjoy some sunshine.

Wine in the sun: Always a good idea...
Keeping it healthy ...

When the sun went down, the Thames Path showed me the way home. It was a fun day, with lots of sun, wine and a friend. What more could I ask for?

Have a great start to your week!!

Poncho Personalisation Service by Burberry

Hello everyone! It has been a busy period for me recently and I am trying to find time for everything. Here, I detect some failure on my part as it seems like I cannot find much time for my blog :-(

I was reading some interesting fashion news this morning and I came across an article about Burberry's personalised blanket ponchos. I really loved the idea and I wanted to share this with you. From next week you can make the look your own with the launch of Burberry's personalisation service on a selection of its ponchos and its heritage scarves. How cool is that?
The service is launching online and in-store, where the monogramming will be available up to three characters.

Happy Monogramming!! Have a fabulous day and enjoy your weekend.

Z for Accessorize

What a busy week this has been! Work is going fine and I am in the middle of my big move. New neighborhood, new flatmates, everything new! It feels great making a fresh start and as the saying goes "Don't start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday. Every day is a fresh start".

While exploring my new surroundings in SW6, I visited Accessorize and I absolutely loved Zara Simon's collaboration with the brand. Z for Accessorize features gold plated, hand-crafted necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings with semi precious stones designed to be layered for a luxe aesthetic.

Check out the collection and tell me what you think. I personally liked the heart ring (and pretty much every ring, I am such a ringaholic!!) and the earrings with semi-precious stones.

Have a great Sunday!!

Coco de Mer at Monmouth Street

I love walking around Covent Garden and exploring little boutiques when I have time to do so as I am always running to catch a theatrical play. Last time I found myself at Monmouth Street and I could not resist a little peak at the Coco de Mer boutique. From satin bondage lingerie to lace gauntlets, this place has it all. Complete with velvet changing rooms, their store stocks Stella McCartney, Jenny Packham, Mimi Holiday and so many more designers alongside toys of the vibrating variety ;)

They have also got an erotic library for you to brush up on new techniques to tease. Seems like the expression "I am going to the library" got a new meaning! Tempted yet?

Here I will present you a few of my favorite pieces from their latest arrivals.

Lascivious Kitty Latex Cupless Bra
Kriss Soonik Alison Lace Bra
Lascivious Vena Brief
Lelo Insignia Soraya Dual-Action Waterproof Vibrator

Sandro Fall/Winter 2014

One of my favorite brands is French label, Sandro. I am quite a regular at the Harrods boutique on the 4th Floor and everytime time the associates see me they give me their friendliest smile and welcome! Last week, I was going out for drinks and Sandro came to the rescue giving the answer to the intolerable question: "What am I wearing?". I chose a pair of black shorts and a white silky top that I believed made quite an impression ;)

New Arrivals from their Fall/Winter 2014  have hit the stores and here are some of my favorite pieces so far.

Tatianas Lace Overlay T-shirt
Tesla Never Apart T-shirt
Addict Double Zipper Convertible Bag
Prunelle Textured High Waist Shorts
Raison Combo Textured Dress
Rozen Colorblock Lace Dress
Manoli Faux Fur Hooded Black Coat

Have a great weekend!!

Trying Something New...

Another week comes to its end and I am excited to have the weekend off! This month has seen a few changes coming into my life. This coming Monday I am going on secondment in an attempt to explore new things, meet new people and different career possibilities by temporarily changing role within the company that I have been working the last four years.

My feelings are quite mixed at the moment. There is a good dose of excitement, anticipation and anguish. Let the curtain fall on Monday and everything will be revealed!

And some words of wisdom: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened", because I firmly believe that a smile is the best accessory!

Have a lovely Friday and enjoy your weekend!!

Harrods Shoe Heaven

Harrods is always surprising us every time a new space is opening within the store. The latest transformation has happened on the store's 5th floor that has just welcomed its very own shoe heaven on planet earth. Surreal but true! A new floor of divine inspiration has opened its doors to the public marking it as the most fabulous shoe destination.  I visited the Shoe Heaven the other day and my jaw literally dropped.

Here are a few facts before I present you the photos that I took.

2,110 square metres of marble were used in the building of Shoe Heaven
18 Variations of the Charlotte Olympia Kitty (now, which one are you going to get?)
Shoe Heaven is the size of 3 Olympic swimming pools
100,000 pairs of shoes in Shoe Heaven

So girls, whether we have been good or bad (I am always good) we all deserve a bit of Heaven!!

Have a fabulous day!!

Summer in the City

I am spending my summer in the city and where I come from August is the hottest, sunniest month but this seems not to apply to London. In general, one could say that rules do not apply to London, it is such an untamed child!

I went out today for my morning coffee and pain au chocolat (my daily ritual as of recently) and I felt a bit chilly. On Friday night I was out and about (Dirty Martini in Covent Garden was my last stop to a long night where bar crawling was taken to another level) and during the small hours the temperature dropped a bit. Luckily I was carrying a cardigan that I had to put on, on my way home. I do not know how the rest of August will go but I am hoping for the best. Next month I have a couple of holidays planned and I cannot wait. Of course my destinations are very sunny and warm.

A few weeks ago I was in central London and caught two amazing plays: Coppelia at the English National Opera and Shakespeare in Love at the Noel Coward Theatre. I love ballet and a good love story.

How are you all spending your summer? I hope August is treating you very well!!

Have a fun Sunday!!
