 There is something about the rolling hills of the Cotswolds that stays with you long after you come back to London. After a few days of quiet, returning to the hum of the city felt like the perfect opportunity for a gentle reset.

In today’s vlog, I am taking you along for a peaceful morning in Bibury—taking in the countryside beauty, before heading home to find my rhythm again.

Finding the Slow in the City

Coming back to my flat usually means a mountain of laundry and an overflowing inbox, but today, I am choosing a different pace. I’m focusing on those slow rituals that bridge the gap between vacation and reality.

  • The Morning Brew: A slow-poured coffee while the light filters through the windows.

  • A Taste of Memory: For lunch, I made a simple Greek Dakos—crispy barley rusks topped with juicy tomatoes, feta, and good olive oil. It feels like summer, even on a gray London afternoon.

  • Quiet Pages: I have finally started Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. It’s every bit as beautiful as people say.

Cozy Evenings & New Obsessions

As the sun dipped low, I kept things nourishing with a simple, healthy dinner for one. To end the night, I finally leaned into the nostalgia and started Downton Abbey. Why did it take me this long? I am already enchanted by the scenery (and the drama).
