London Men's Fashion Week: Burberry Prorsum A/W 2014

London Men's Fashion Week is in full swing and Burberry's menswear show made quite an impact yesterday. The collection was inspired by Christopher Bailey's creative heroes: Lucian Freud, Ben Nicholson, Duncan Grant and Christopher Wood.

The fashion event was one of his best: relaxed, witty and jostling with attractive coats (my favorite pieces from the collection by far!), shoes, bags (quite spacious!) and knitwear.

The string vest certainly left its mark in the aftermath. Bailey said the string vest had caught his eye as he researched one of the inspirations for this collection, the artists of St Yves. Furthermore, he added that his grandfather was wearing string vests all the time.
I loved the printed scarves!!

For the finale all the models were wrapped in plaid blankets in camel, grey, red and purple. I believe this was a stylish show and Burberry is one of my favorite British fashion houses.

What did you think of the collection?
